Ross Bridge Animal Hospital offers in-clinic diagnostic testing. We provide same day results for a large portion of our diagnostic tests. Some test results require a longer run time and may not be available on the same day the samples are collected. To get a complete picture of your pet’s overall health, we must go beyond a physical examination. This approach allows us to assess deeper health issues. our team of veterinarians use diagnostic capabilities to check your pet from nose to tail. This process helps uncover any underlying conditions or abnormalities that may not be visible.
Our scope of diagnostic checks includes complete blood count and blood chemistry panels. We also offer heartworm ELISA testing, parvo ELISA testing, and Giardia ELISA testing. Additionally, we provide digital radiography, thoracic and abdominal ultrasounds. Along with this is an access to a full-service reference laboratory for advanced diagnostic services.
Results from diagnostic testing can detect infection and anemia. They can determine electrolyte status and hydration levels, and evaluate kidney, liver, and pancreas function. They can also screen for thyroid disease, check blood sugar levels, and provide additional insights. Test results for most of these services are available while the client waits. However, results from the reference lab are not provided in-house. This quick turn-around time means that your pet can receive a diagnosis and start treatment on the same day.
